Step 4.
Insert the Extension Spring into the hole in the Center Rigid Digit.
Identify the Set Screw Pin. (Be certain you have the Set Screw Pin). Then screw the Set Screw Pin in the top hole of the Center Rigid Digit and lace through the eye of the Extension Spring.
This is tricky. Study the clear demo version of the Center Rigid Digit below, for clarity.
The Extension Spring and Set Screw Pin are now connected
Make sure the Set Screw Pin is sub flush (below surface) with the Center Rigid Digit.
Check:
The Set Screw Pin is through the eye of the Extension Spring and that it is sub flush (below surface) with top exterior of Center Rigid Digit. It should look like the photo below.
If, while inserting the Set Screw Pin you discover the hole is blocked, ask for assistance to drill the hole.
